About The Artwork Inspired by the book Irving Stone, “Lust for Life”. About the life of the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The book impressed me so much that I had to cry while i was reading. – This is unthinkable! I can not do it anymore! After a while, Vincent entered a plowed field behind the castle. Now it was already the end. He knew this already in Arles, the first time he felt that something was wrong with him, but he did not find the strength in himself to immediately settle all scores. He wanted to say “sorry” to the world. Despite everything, this is still a wonderful world. As Gauguin said: “In addition to poison, there is an antidote.” And now, leaving this world, Vincent wanted to say goodbye to him, wanted to say goodbye to all the friends who helped him find his way, – but Vincent never knew how to express his feelings in words. He would have to say “sorry” with paints. But no one has been given it.He raised his head and looked at the sun. He pressed the revolver and pulled the trigger. He fell, burying his face in the greasy, spicy smell of the earth, which gently and resiliently gave in beneath him, as if he was returning to the mother’s womb again ……………………………………. . But Vincent is not dead. He will never die. His love, his genius, that great beauty that he created, will live forever, enriching the world. Not an hour passes so that I do not look at his canvases and find in them a new faith, a new meaning in life. He was a titan … a great artist … a great philosopher. He fell victim to his love of art. ABOUT THE ARTWORK I was inspired and deeply fell in love with the profound depth and mysteries of light emanated from the otherworld. Water is my passion for its dichotomist meanings such as life and creation, force and destruction, calmness and peace. I believe my work hyper realistic adding op art distortions with a realistic theme. Transparencies and textures are important as well as movement and light refraction. Acrylic colours are intense within the blue palette. I hope the viewers may de able to have an inmmersive deligth when looking at it. It will be a pleasure for me to…
